    Cannabis Coconut Oil

    1. Grind cannabis in blender or coffee grinder until fine fine. Shake and rub it through sieve or use a sifter to remove any remaining larger particles.
    2. Bake powdered cannabis on foil lined baking sheet at 230º for 25 min. This process decarboxylates the cannabis changing inactive THCA to active THC.
    3. Melt oil in crockpot. Add cannabis. Simmer on low for 3-4 hours.
    4. Strain oil through sieve into airtight container, pressing cannabis with back of spoon to extract as much oil as possible. Discard plant matter or use in cannacapsules.

      1. I love this recipe!
        Just a few questions.
What is the purpose of the alcohol in the recipe?
Does it alter the flavor of the oil?
And is 230 degrees low enough that it dosent vapourize any of the active chemicals?

      2. idk if anyone will answer this.. but, how much oil will I need if I’m using a 1/2 ounce to make the cannaoil?

      3. The alcohol is not necessary at all.
also covering at all times and not removing the lid helps keep potency due to loss of terps and flavornoids from evaporation.
